It jacks them up a lot and when your older you will have a crippled foot! My advice don't do it anymore. I don't think any ballet dancer would want a crippled foot..

I know you didnt mean to do this but this vid looks cool in an artistic way the carpet the colors etc i feel like it should be in a scary movie like the shining or have like mozart music playing in the background!haha

That is really bad for your feet!! Do not use this strategy to improve your arches!!! Use exercises like forced arch and use a theraband to improve your arches.

Well, first it doesn't help you in any way...
Second, putting all your body weight on the joints of your feet will cause joint damage.
If you want to warm up your feet for pointe you should do some circles with your ankles to get your metatarsals warmed up, and if you want to get your toes warmed up then: flex, pointe just your ankles, point your ankles and toes and then reverse. I'll do a video on it. :) :)
