KWGN Daybreak Song Contest

KWGN had a contest to write a new Theme Song. I wrote and recorded something quickly at Steve Cooper's- www.scmpro.com I invited the just graduated and very talented Allison Smith to sing the female part. While we didn't win, it was a fun experience. We sent in two versions and they played the sparse one on the air- with just vox and bass. This video includes the promos, most of the four finalists and even my son, Dean Satriano's AAA TV ad that aired during the show! Being an oldie myself I was really glad Ken K won. It's a good tune. Owen's tune is gorgeous too. My entry is just over :30- it's a jingle, really, so I'd love to shoot a video for it with Tom & Angie and the rest of the crew! They have a great show with lots of personality and more people need to know about it.

Owens's song is nice. He probably finished 2nd. It's kinda Dave Matthews style- perhaps a bit too mellow for an AM show designed to awaken people?
