Yay for Cronenberg, Viggo, and Fassbender!! Man, Fassbender's been on a hot streak, hasn't he?

I've been reading mixed reviews so far, kind has me a little worried for it (plus I'm not the biggest fan of Knightley myself) but I've been waiting for this one for a while (being the devoted Cronenberg fan I am) and I'll try to catch it in the theater being it's going to play this weekend in my area.

Knowing how you enjoy a challenging film, I think you'll like it for sure. But it is talky, but so is psychoanalysis.

I got to see A Dangerous Method in a special 'sneak' preview in Chicago at the Music Box Theatre a few weeks before it opened in the States, and had a very similar response to both of you. Promising cast and interesting set of ideas... and yet I left the film curiously unsatisfied!

oh gee. This happens sometimes. A movie I have no interest in starring two actors I really like. Would I be able to endure Hollywood teaching me about Freud and Jung ..all for Viggo and Fassbender? Biographies are often touch and go. But it feels like a conventional incomplete mess. And those loose ends...nah. Great acting gone to waste maybe. Thanks for the review but I don't think I'm going to see this one.

Great review! always enjoyable to hear what the both of you have to say. I love Monty Python, but i dont think it suits the this particular film! hahahaha ... i dont know if i will see it. Maybe give it a rental. Awesome job!!! the both of you :) Have a wonderful day!
