Hill Top farmhouse was the inspiration for many of Beatrix Potter's illustrations in her books: in each room, something that appears in one of her books can be found. The short programme was part of the National Trust's centenary celebrations in 1995.

It was a thrill to actually see how Beatrix incorporated the sketches of parts of her farmhouse into the illustrations for her wonderful stories.
