  • I never really got into GG but do you have the DVD and if you do what do you think of it?

  • I don't have this years GG DVD yet. I have the 08 Melty Blood & Arcana Heart 2 DVDs though. Plan to get the Third Strike DVD next and the GG one after that. However I can say the game play on any SBO DVD is absolutely amazing. Plus it's kind of cool seeing what some of your favorite players actually look like.

I'm going to post some footage from an older GG SBO DVD pretty soon. An Ogawa Rapefest.

  • yeah they generally only use it as a finisher

  • Potemkin is primarily a close up fighter. Heat Extend knocks them far away, which is something Pot players generally don't want. It's better to sacrifice some damage so that they'll land at your feet, allowing you to do a mix-up.

  • I have seen a few videos of Potemkin being used in AC now. I do not have the game myself, but have wondered: Is there a reason that the full "heat extend" (only seen at 2:49) is apparently not being used by Potemkin players anymore?

  • This matchup makes me cry.

  • haha, j.pppp j.hs

    very cute.
