Powerful Prayers by Larry King & Irwin Katsof

Irwin Katsof has authored three books, and is currently working on his fourth. In 1998, he co-authored with Larry King, Powerful Prayers: Conversations on Faith, Hope and the Human Spirit with Todays Most Provocative People, which was ranked the tenth best-selling religious book of the year according to Publishers Weekly. His second book, How to Get Your Prayers Answered, was published in 2000 and reissued in 2002. His third, The Words Can Heal Handbook: How Changing Your Words Can Change Your Life, was released in 2001 and is still being used by thousands of students across America as part of the Words Can Heal Character Education Program. Rabbi Katsof is a very nice man. I contacted him by e-mail several years ago while going through some bad times. He patiently and kindly gave me some good advice and was a good listener. He didn't have to do it but took time out of his day to provide some basic counsel to me. It still means a lot to me that he did that. Hats off to Katsof is all I can say!
