My brother's project LS1 S-10. It ran a 12.6 on a soft launch. He is currently working on the rear suspension setup. Possibly a turbo in its future as well.

  • Actually, No! Most drag racers prefer auto's because they are way more consistant.

  • I don't care who you are....you can't out shift a built automatic.

  • Nicely done.

  • can you blot a old th350turbo to an ls1??

  • good mph, better launch and you will be in the 11's.

  • I love ur S-10 bro...10 thumbs up

  • @05smoker is that a 5 or 6 speend trany

  • Can't beat an auto, especially with a high stall. I must admit connecting a V8 to the payment by letting your left foot out is more fun.

Who's got $2000 for a good T56 which you might break with a turbo and slicks. I would love to build a 14-71 blown hotrod with a 4 speed lenco someday when i have the money.

  • i think the mustang guy would got off the car and ran he would done a better time.

  • Did your tranny bolt right up to your v8 let me know im planning on swapping my 95 s10 im running a 5speed transmission by the way same as ur truck im assuming
