These guys were very talented and had great songs, but almost all of their TV perfromances were simply lip-synched to the original recording, as with most artists of their era. I enjoy "live" performances captured on tape or film the best, but these are very rare in the fifties and sixties.

I have this song on an audio tape somewhere backed with a non-J&D song.
I think I've seen this video before a while ago. I wonder who choreographed their dancing? Well done who ever it was. There's no way they were dancing so well sync'd without some practice. Some soft tap dancing or something like it.

@magcarril Ahhh O.K. All I can remember back then when I asked the barber ' you know, the Collegiate style" was the barber then asking me " you mean the Princeton look?" Princeton is "ivy League. Brainwashed with Princeton, that was me. Well 6 or one half dozen, you know. The kids look so Bobby Socks, gotta admit. Dip da dip dip and all.

This particilar video should win an award...and put in the rock and roll video hall of fame, did jan and dean ever dress sharp, even if those jackets......they'd still look okey today on a couple of punks that were known to imitate jan and dean, One thing is, i suggest they wear a pair of snug, very faded & tattered jeans along with a pair of orange nikes to offset the jacket....very coool!.
