Academy Award nominee Gus Van Sant directs Academy Award winner Sean Penn as gay-rights icon Harvey Milk. Mr. Milk (1930-1978) was an activist and politician, and the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in America; in 1977, he was voted to the city supervisors' board of San Francisco. The following year, both he and the city's mayor George Moscone were shot to death by another city supervisor, Dan White. Mr. Milk was previously the subject of the Academy Award-winning documentary feature "The Times of Harvey Milk," but "Milk" is the first non-documentary feature to explore the man's life and career.

im not queer or whatever (im still 12, remember) but my family taught me that people who are gay have every right to marry so long as they love each other--and perverse lifestyle? That's just something you homophobic crapheads made up.
If Jesus was so against homosexuality, why is there nothing about it in the New Testament? All that is in the Old Testament, and even then it was very little. Something tells me people back then had bigger things to worry about , like someone stealing your sheep or your mud-hut home falling apart. The people who write the Bible also believed that the Earth was flat, sea monsters were real, and that the Earth was the center of the solar system....hmmmm, yea definitely credible sources!
@bshaun2 Hey thats right Jesus died for homesexuals just like He died for everybody elses sins . Just as long as gays know that Jesus is waiting for them and that Jesus loves them, that is all that matters.
