Noah Watching Anoop Top 11 American Idol

This is my favorite video of Noah watching Anoop. Noah has severe autism and is nonverbal - but he loves Anoop Desai. This is the first video we've taken where Noah is actually watching Anoop perform without stimming (flapping his hands, spinning circles, squealing - well, okay, he IS chewing his shirt) . He is absolutely mesmerized by his performance - he's actually sitting still and WATCHING it. This is a huge accomplishment for a child with Noah's type of autism. Way to go Noah and THANKS AGAIN, Anoop!

Yes. :-) Noah was adopted from Calcutta when he was 10 1/2 months old.

I don't know why our 5 year old referred to Anoop as the "Indian Guy". lol. He knows his name. :-)

Actually, it's really good. He didn't do a lot stimming (autism talk for hand flapping, squealing, etc). He actually was still and watched it - which he's never done before. He's never watched anything without stimming before. It's a very UN-autism thing to do. Which we think is great!

I can't stop crying right now watching this video. Anoop's beautiful rendition of this song and Noah watching him like he is his buddy is just too much.... too touching....Anoop should be a best buddy.

hi did u know ??? anoop fans sent him a scrapbook with 101 reasons y they love anoop and one of them had a picture of noah watchin anoop on Tv sayin..."Anoop,u make miracles happen"...well thats so true

ya, i guess the interaction between them two made it even speacial since they were both indian. It was basically god playing his role, don't ya think. God sent noop man down to cheer noah up. I like you a lot and what your doing to my people. Maybe one day noah can sing like anoop. Anything's possible
