So Nathan is the schools bad boy, captain of the basketball team and Brooke is the lead cheerleader they are dating and very happy well thats what Brooke thinks.. Lucas has always been inlove with brooke but she has always been with Nathan Nathan wins a basket ball game and tells brooke that its all because her that she is his inspiration Lucas watches Nathan wants to go out and celebrate but brooke told him she had to go out to dinner with her parents so Nathan asks Haley out and lucas see everything..
The next day lucas tells brooke that he saw Nathan with Haley last night brooke doesnt believe him and lucas tells her to turn around when she does she sees Nathan with haley shes a bit upset but Nathan and haley are just talking.
That night at the game lucas confronts Nathan and tells him he knows that he is cheating on brooke Nathan tells im to mind his own business lucas tells Nathan that he wants to be with brooke so that his business they get into a fight
After the game brooke is waiting to talk to Nathan and confront him about haley and about the fight with lucas. But haley got to Nathan first she wanted to see if he was okay after the fight because haley is inlove with Nathan Nathan sees brooke and is pissed about what happen with lucas so he leaves with haley as brooke watches
Brooke is heartbroken the next day Nathan talks to brooke at school and they break up
Brooke walks out upset crying Nathan watches her and realizes that he made a big mistake that he really does care about her but is it to late
