For moosehunting is 30,06 308 and the caliber i use 6,5 mm the most common. 6,5 is the smallest one allowed. Allso usefull for bigger birds(nonexpanding buillets) and roe deer.

Den stog dåld så länge och när den äntligen kom fram ville jag inte riskera att kulan skull gå igenom och skada kon.

I didn´t want to hurt the cow behind it. Or if you meen why i didn´t shoot the cow. The calf would probably starve to death on it´s own.
