This particular dish was cooked ikan bakar-style. Grilling with banana leaves adds another level of subtle flavours, giving the meat a very complex and wonderful flavour.

Think ikan bakar is usually seasoned ith turmeric powder hence the dark charcoal-like colour. I have tried this dish and it is delicious!
