First, this is a friendly discussion between neighbors.

Second, You can listen to as many Greek songs as you wish or like.

Third, We are only try to clarify the origin of this and many other songs.

There are many Greek songs which were first written in Turkish by Greeks in New York City (refugies). Turkish was their best language as thay came from Smirna (Ismir) and Instanbul (Canstantinoupolis).

  • @JimmyTheGreek2000 i cant know . maybe u are right or not but i wanna asq u a question : is it important ? greek or turkish or not both , song is so nice i think we should just listen and enjoy ;)

  • @oghuzzzzz

This is a traditional Greek song and dance that we sing and dance to it for centuries

The title is Kαναρίνι μου γλυκό (My Sweet Kanarini) (The word Kanarini (small bird) refers to the one you are in love with (i.e. a metaphor !)

Elina Chanichonologou (Ελίνα Χατζηχρόνογλου) Anna Frngi(Άννα Φραντζή), Paula Arabani (Ρούλα Αραβανή) have been singing this song along with Glykeria and Alexiou.
