Indeed...who, among your friends, can you truly count on? Something to think about...

Off of their 1974 album on the Creative Arts label. I don't actually have this album, tho I've been keeping an eye out for it for awhile. Sent to me by a computer-savvy friend.

Enjoy.

  • The roots of the TransJazz smooth jazz gospel band goes directly to Soul Libertation.

  • @optikCB Yeah, it's the same group. Both albums are done by a guy called Jimmy Miller. The "Who Are You?" LP is also one of my all time favourite LPs!

  • T riffick track ...always such a delight to sample such niceness, when i would surely never have heard without wizardry computors and FRIENDly music lovers with amazing musical wonders...pass on the musical love my friends .....brilliant B,B,S

  • Is this the same Soul Liberation from Texas who put out the private pressed LP "Who Are You?" That LP is one of my all time favorites! If this is the same group, this is MUCH more funk oriented whereas the other LP is much more Capitol Records/modern soul-ish. This sounds hot though!

  • I remember these days in the Bronx jammin and playing with Soul Lib. You better put some of those other songs up there Jimmy Miller and Charles McCampbell. jw

  • in it man

  • DAMN! Got to get it in yo' SOUL!
