Members of a congressional panel interrogating AIG CEO Edward Liddy on Wednesday repeatedly asked that he release the names of executives who were on the good end of $165 million in bonus payments. Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), chairman of the Financial Services Committee, requested the names and threatened to subpoena them.

  • TIME FOR A LITTLE VIOLENCE

time for AIG parking lot to be a sea of flames, time for AIG executives to be

found dead with their dicks cut off and stuffed in their mouths, time for a little pay back

  • Of course people hate people who make money like this. They do NOTHING PRODUCTIVE and simply create accounting tricks to tax the real wealth that real people create. Then they leveraged our entire economy, LYING ABOUT THE RISK. They knew the house of cards was coming down, so they set themselves up in advance with golden parachutes, like Enron did, and expect us to pay for it. Of course people are feeling hate. But you are correct that the Congress and both political parties deserve ire, too.

  • @ehunter2 it won't work because there will probably be a sea of eager wall streeters who will replace the others and they will probably get better security...

  • Haha good point

  • by complete morons that vote?

  • Frank is a complete moron. How did he get into congress?

  • congress is up 2010 vote them out

  • Congress is filled with crooks; they knew about the bonuses, but they act so surprised all of a sudden.

  • I understand his concern, it is a very real one. That's something these sneering crooks should have considered before they so blatantly ripped off their fellow Americans.

I think the anger stems from their contemptuous attitude. Hard working Americans are losing jobs and being displaced, and these people had a lot to do with it. They not only continue to live in opulent luxury, they expect the ones they destroyed to keep paying for it.

  • And I don't care that Obama had any involvement w/ Acorn or McCain and EADS.

  • I really don't care about dealing weapons in Africa.. What I do care about is what is happening to this country.. He has spent more in 20 days than Bush did in 8 years!.. Where is the Liberal montra, "HOW MUCH IS THIS GOING TO COST?"... Oh, I see, if Bush Does it he is an idiot, Obama does it, and he is a god!!
