I Am SO SUrprised that NOBODY Remembers that This was AIRED on NETWORK TV!! in the 70's!! (Complete WITH the talking Penis AND if I remember correctly the nekkid guy running through the woods (lots of frontal nudity etc.etc.) I ThinK what happened was the censors or execs didn't watch the actual movie and thought it was tamer than it was) I was like 10yrs old watching an upside down penis out of channel .. ?5 maybe from New York around 1pm!!
that naked guy was Buzzy Linhart who wrote the song "Friends" that made Bette Midler famous. You should check out some of his vids here. This movie was a riot!!!! I saw it on the big screen in the theaters too.
That movie had me laughing so hysterically, when I first saw it. I wasn't ready for how it would get to me...the "Sex Ed" commercial being particularly off-the-wall.
The children's show segment, "Kinko the Clown", was funny too.
The movie perfectly reflected the complete wackiness, (and fun and lightheartedness) of the '70's era. You know...smiley faces, and "have a nice day".
