  • @chefmagnum dude.... you are probably one of those cocky people who think they are the shit at skiing and that you can ski on piste fine. Step off piste without safety and you will think you're fine as well. It keeps you above the snow so you don't suffocate under all the snow... learn some about slabs and ski safety

  • Two weeks ago i was caught in a decent size one in verbier. thank god for the snowpulse bag.

  • Every year iam going to verbier bud wher was it happend? I ski there alsow off piste

  • @canwilf verbier, switzerland

  • Where was that video taken?

  • This guy got so lucky. Very exposed, rocky terrain and it looks as if he missed most of it. Airbags will keep you on top but wont stop you from snapping a femur or worse! Most important part to safe backcountry travel is to avoid ever being in an avalanche, get educated, know the snowpack, current conditions, terrain, and safe travel techniques. Happy shredding everyone, stay safe!!

  • @chefmagnum ERRR, errm have you ever boarded, you can see the slab go, the snowpulse keeps you ontop and facing the sky

gona finaly give in and get one this season

  • @chefmagnum

Dude, did u ever actually ski offpiste?! Look at 0:17 and especially 0:20. Thats what you call a "slab avalanche". And it works amazing!

  • HOLY FUCK!! I wouldn't even call this an avalanche, he slid down the hill on his back you can see the sky the whole time. so not sure how this amazing thing actually works.
