  • The full name is スケートボード (suke-tobo-do) but it's commonly referred to as just スケボー (sukebo-) :)

  • ski means ski?bicycle teruck? I am starting to quistion how similar to english there language is when they never learned latin.

  • I read on many websites, that "plane" in Japanese is "kokuki", not "hikoki". May both be correct?

  • @david2869 maybe they're just teaching us the words what people back in japan usually use.

    and yeah there is a word for it.. it's fune.. it means ship/boat.. kanji is 船 :D

    They just HAD to have a medieval word for boat they no longer use.
