add an age to your sim, or in the particle emmitter itselfe you can set the amount of particles you want to emit

Well since some of us has seen a lot of these pouring liquid into containers. I guess we all need to see some switch. How about an animation of a pouring liquid into a cup and the cup moves, tilt and the liquid level animates to compensate ground level and some drops or spills on the table. that should be interesting.
