@Krycek2008, Well I have always been in private schools, so have my kids, and none of us hide materials. Well... I need to hide my garage but it's got over £1 million of cars, and I still use them all.

IDIOTS! If he does not want the car, sell it, give it, send it to an auction, do something useful! Remember of when you were in Kindergarten? You were tought to SHARE! There are so manhy unemployed people that would like a safe car. The Renault Laguna has a 5-star EuroNCAP rating. My sister's husband has one!!

Does he mean he has had to spend £800 on fixing things since he bought it and is therefore sick of the sight of it? Cos it sounds like he's saying he spent £800 to buy it and because he works next door to his house (in the family shop perhaps?) he's wrecking the car because he doesn't use it. Bet he later made an insurance claim saying it was stolen and got his 800 notes back.
