This is a video showing three films that have been converted using Spb Mobile DVD so that they can be viewed on my Android phone. I have a Samsung Epic 4G from Sprint. I know that this phone supports a variety of video codecs over other Android phones, so I am not really sure if this process will work on other Android phones. I am only aware of the Samsung Media Hub as a viable mainstream source for getting films and TV shows on Android (to work properly). The downside of this service is that films to own start at about $9.99. I have downloaded one film (Iron Man) from the Samsung Media Hub and I will say that it looks amazing, but the price is still there. I originally had purchased Spb DVD for my prior Windows Mobile phone but was surprised to find that this same software will work with Android devices (at least the Samsung Epic 4G). All I did was use the software to burn the movies I already legally own onto my computer and then just add them to the phone. The quality is pretty good, as you can do it as a Windows Media file or an Xvid format file, both at 25fps. Every now and then there is some pixelation while watching the video, but overall it plays smoothly in the native video player for Android. I believe this is a good alternative to the Samsung Media Hub if you already own the original film on DVD and to the fact that there is no real video download service for Android yet such as the likes of iTunes. The file sizes are comparable at between 500mb and 700mb depending on what quality video you want (80% quality vs 100% quality of the original video). I was able to burn Iron Man 2 in just under an hour.
