You've done a wonderful job at singing this song, but a few good points for you to work on would definitely be your vowels. Open your mouth a little wider to make the sound more mature, and use crescendos and decrescendos to the point of almost over exaggeration. Other than that, you did a beautiful job, and I enjoyed hearing you!

We're doing this song for our after-school female choir. Out of all the songs we've looked at since our December concert, this is my favorite.

Yes, this is Ms. Williams almost 2 years ago. This is the first time they performed this song after only a couple weeks of review.
Their TMEA performance was breath taking in the spring.

when it says HMS does that stand for hamilton middle school?

No, this is Henry Middle School in Texas. This Honor Choir was made up of 7th and 8th grade girls who performed this song later at TMEA in San Antonio.
