@agassizbeekeeper : Kenyan and Tanzanian top bar hives are misnamed. Top bar hives were in use thousands of years ago in Europe....why anyone decided to try to help hungry people in Africa produce more hungry Africans I don't know. Not like the world is short on stupid hungry people. But to be more historically accurate, you should refer to them as Greek, not whatever African shit hole we gave them to.

I have been watching everything I can on topbars. A friend and I are starting two Tanzania topbars when our bees get here last of April or first of May. We are in Southeastern ND. Our bees are Minnesota Hygienics from B&B Bee Farm in Houston MN. You have some excellent videos. What are you using for feeders now?
