OLD IRISH MAN RAPPING!!!! GEEZER HIP-HOP!!!!

OK ... you heeded the caution so proceed to Tarp Rap......
I indulged myself a wee bit on this one.
*A photo-show mandolin intro......
*Hip-Hop in the Piney Woods... Lil' Shug & The Players bring on "the Tarp Life Ya'll" ... guest appearances from Karl Childers, Jasper Pipestone & Roid the Clown. Yo.....
*Tarp action at 2:19....A TOUR OF THE SPEER WINTER TARP.....http://www.speerhammocks.com/
*Hannibal Lecter stops by ...... he was late for the "Tarp Life Ya'll" shoot and was his usual creepy, cranky self.
* Guy line Tarp Tensioners..... get them at: http://www.jacksrbetter.com or at http://whoopieslings.com/No_Knot_Tarp_Guylines.html
*Were seeing stakes ......
*Marlin-Spike stake tie.
* The usual doofs at the end.
* A Big Thankee to Rob C. for the SE logo at the end ..... what a productive fan!!!!!!

  • You know, being a surfer and liking my comfort at the end of the day, I believe I'll just go with the full quilt, as the car's never that far away, but thanks again Shug, for the info, you again enlightened my curiosity. However, the more I see your videos, I'd love to hang out, ha! ha! did you see that? hang out!...... hammock?... Oh well, yes hang out and go on one of your trips. Still I really enjoy the vids, keep em comin' ! Take care Shug. Kind regards

  • @doctordonuthin Good one feller)))))! I laughed. Full quilts are nice.

  • Oh well keep it up 'cos it sounds great. The juggling is great too, saw the one when the hammock collapsed, is that part of the act? Only joking. Say, do you know why most people I see on the net go for the 3/4 length under quilts and not full ones? Wouldn't ones feet get cold. As you can see this is quite new to me, but I can't wait to try it out soon at the Ashdown forest, you know, Winnie the Poo country.

  • @doctordonuthin Well 3/4 take up less room in the backpack....valued real-estate!

I put a Thermarest sit-pad in the footbox of my Top Quilt and that works for me. Also in real cold I put my down vest or parka around my hammock at the feet as I am not wearing it.

  • Ha! Ha! Man, You're really funny. You should have your own t.v. show over here (U.K.). The outdoors is fun, but you bring so much more to it, and great ideas. The whole package. Do you play your bluegrass live?. My girlfriend hales from Minneapolis, so we'll have to check it out if you are gigging next time we're out there visiting her parents. Both fans of blue grass you see. Take care and keep 'em coming.

  • @doctordonuthin Cheers and thanks....I am too much of an under-achiever for a show on the tube!

I am just a bluegrass jammer for the most part. My juggling show is my bread and butter.
