2008 Ford F150 XLT Triton 4.6L V8 Walkaround

A walkaround of my 08 F150. People have asked about exhaust, etc. So I figured I'd show you what I have. Any questions feel free to ask me. I am more than happy to help you out. I have a Flowmaster ORIGINAL 40 series. The pipe is 2.5" ID and 2.25"OD Tips are 3"x16" that fit 2.25". Any other questions please comment and I will answer you.

Holy shit. That does sound great! I have a 2010 F150. Im pricing all these true dual exhaust systems and they are so expensive. This is a great sounding option!

@heatherandpaul2 thanks I really do appreciate it. You have 3 different V8 options on your model: the 4.6 2V like I have, the 4.6 3V which was an optional engine, or the 5.4 3V..all these factors will affect sound, however most ford trucks including the 6.8L V10 all sound pretty much the same, piping and all have to do with it. so the shop just removed the oem muffler. added the flowmaster. then from the muffler back to the bumper is custom with the tips

@992bm yep. If you're wanting everything replaced you've got a lot of money there. I can give you info on a complete exhaust but it won't sound like mine. If you like mine..go with mine. To answer your cost question it was like $385.00 but $90.00 was my two tips. If you go to summitracing they will cost you around 25/pc so that saves 40 bucks there. It was well worth it though. The muffler was around $75.00

Hello I just had a question, how many Catalytic converters does your truck has,? I have a 2007 4.6 and I want to know how many CATs it has, I heard that they changed from 4 CATs to 2 CATS on 2006, is that true?

shit that sounds exactly like my old 2000 f150 with true dual magnaflows, cats cut out and the 4.6.. weird

I have a 2010 with a 4.6 and I used to have the same exhaust as urs but then I put a straight pipe on it and it got 2 times louder than what it was its also an option
