How To Find The Super Emeralds

This is an instruction video to help Sonic 3 and Knuckles AND Sonic and Knuckles players find those extra-well-hidden emeralds. I play as Tails (my favourite character in the Sonic Series) and show you all the emeralds that are hidden to the best of my knowledge. You may notice that I have a hard time in Mushroom Hill, that's because I find that the emeralds are the hardest to find in that level. Anyway, I hope this will be of help. @Shadowchao11 They come with Tails' super powers. They can actually attack enemies and even do damage to Eggman in the boss fights. When Tails returns to normal, the birds leave.

Actually, you can get all 7 Super Emeralds in Mushroom Hill, granted you play as Tails and don't mind a lot of exploring. I've only done it once myself, but it can be done.

@PhoenixSaturn Yeah, I had a feeling about that but as I said in my description, I find that the emerald locations in Mushroom Hill are the toughest to find.

@undeadjuanfe After completing the story, you can select any level you want. it's a nifty feature.

So wait, you only to find the rings to get super emeralds, as opposed to having to do the stages or did you just edit those levels out? Also, I'm guessing this will work for the Virtual Console version? (I have Sonic 3, but plan to get S&K soon.)

@chobots73 Yup, that's what I usually do. I finish the game with the Chaos Emeralds and then come back to get the Super ones. It is a nifty trick.

i know a different way

finish whole game

go on zone 1 special stage and win and restart(till 7 emeralds

go to mushroom hill and go in the the ss ring where knux shows up(win and restart till all SE)

and there we go

To all my loyal viewers: I have good news! There is an excellent game out on the market called Sonic Classic Collection. It is for the Nintendo DS and you can play all the Sonic games for the Sega Genesis including Sonic 3 and Knuckles!!
