Man I really could care less how it looked...the reason I got my road worn was because it sounded and felt good TO ME. I'm a real simple guy, if it sounds good, then it's probably the right guitar to have, if it feels good, then that's probably what you should get. Just my two cents.

no offense to the owners of these. i would rather buy a new one and in ten years have a broken in feal. another reason being that each scratch and ding could be at differnet gig and when you pick it up you remember all the guood times and bad you had with the guitar!!!

I have quite a few guitars, including USA vintage reissue strats, and consider myself very fussy when it comes to buying guitars. I found a secondhand 60's Roadworn Strat, one of the very earliest ones with a really dark rosewood board, tried it in the shop, and it literally blew away any other strat in the shop, including custom shop strats. Needless to say I bought it, and it's now my favourite guitar ever. Sounds incredible, and plays like butter. Awesome guitar!

Overall this sounded pretty good. The player is good. Must be a good amp or switched pickups, or a custom shop guitar...
