@Joy4EC Thanks for sending that track. I liked it more than a lot of what's on the Damita Jo collection. It's not that DJ was especially poor, simply that too many tracks sounded like polished tracks but not finished songs. Since Control, I've come to expect Janet albums with at least 2 bona fide hits and at least four other seriously hot tracks.

She's still the truth if you ask me. Love Janet

@lokijordan Alot of her songs for those cds were unreleased and so there are probably some you haven't heard yet. This one I hadn't heard in particular, "clap your hands," "roll with you," "pop up," "days go by" and plenty others. I'm mad because alot of these songs are old and people are just now hearing them. " roll with you" came out around the dancing era with "snap ya fingers" "white tee" soulja boy had just came out yullin. I feel her song would've been a hit too, if it was released here.

@sebastiancox Damita Jo is by far one of the best R&B albums of all-time. And as for the dancing part, this track is one monster dancing track along with a lot of other tracks from the album. I'm a dancer who dances a lot by heart and I kinda lost my shine last week but I listened to these songs and I danced better than usually. Could this be love is one great dance song that saved me!

This song is a snoozer like 90% of the Damita Jo Project. The "songs" were mostly grooves absent of an actual song. Just like the previous two collections. This is why Miss Jackson's recordings haven't been selling well this last several years. In the past, we've expected that her call to "Gimme a beat!!!" meant that that beat would be accompanied by a strong song. Ms. J hasn't had an album with more than three strong songs as potential hit singles in almost a decade. J- Come back!

@lokijordan Although I respect your opinion, I have to disagree. "Damita Jo" Is one of the best albums Janet ever made. It's shows versatility and growth. Sure, it's slower than a lot of her other albums, but i think that's the point. As far as dance music, she'll always include it, but It's hard to grow when you've been put in a mold and are expected to do things a certain way. She is a true artist and true artists try and push themselves with new things.
