Please FIGHT AS HARD AS YOU CAN!. I wish i can righ now.

I liked other teen/tween aged classics such as REMEMBER THE TITANS, RUDY, ALL THE RIGHT MOVES, VISIONQUEST, and even GRIDIRON GANG (don't judge me!), but for my $ this one is it as it has that element of realistic everyday "tragedy". No Hollywood ending, nobody gets shot, no over the top circumstances - just the plight of otherwise nameless/faceless everymen in an obscure corner of the world & a soundtrack that tugs at your heartstrings as it tells the story of just falling short of greatness.

@LGleopard20 excatly to much joney loves chachi bullshit and not enough people getting drilled

@coolmasn the tv show sucks!!!!!!!
-
@coolmasn none taken. Though the TV show, if you want my opinion, is too much drama lol. The movie and this part of the song, represents one of the most important in life.
You may had work the harder, the hardest, the best, with the more heart and love. Sometimes, in the end, you may come up very short of winning what you deserve :(
I've played football. When, on the last play of championship, it's 35-30 for the other team, and you come up the length of one football before a touchdown, it hurts

No offense to anyone but, I believe the TV show is WAY better than the movie

Friday Night Lights is one of the best sports movies ever made. I mean Its like I lost the game too and I understand the movie was different then real life but still the movie was great
Give everything you got every second you get to play...play every play as if its your last...play for your bothers...your coaches...play for the love of the game

When you're doing drills at practice, be the first to volunteer. Get your reps in. When the rest of the benchwarmers and primadondas stand around with their thumb in their butt, too good to hit the sled, or too good to hit the dummys, JUMP in there. Never let a coach wait for someone to go through a drill. Never walk from drill to drill in practice. You're their to get hardened up, not to pass the time.
Showing heart can help you go far, and getting those extra trys in at practice will help.
