No matter how many times i tried i couldn't do it...i ended up always doing the pendulum serve, with the ball consistently hitting twice (sometimes three times) on the table...help a fellow penholder please...

@yogistyle92 the key is to spin the ball instead of hitting the ball on the serve. You have to feel that there is only the friction between the rubber and the ball, and not just the rubber hitting the ball. I guess that first thing you need to do is to learn to serve short consistently (by short I mean the 2nd bound stays on the table). And then, really work on using the friction on the rubber to serve. Hope that helps.

@yogistyle92 okay...does throwing the ball higher has any effect?? i see you throw them pretty high..

@yogistyle92 Nah, I don't really think throwing the ball higher makes it easier. It's just what you are more comfortable with.
