I don't expect to see every issue on a simple quiz, but it's missing some key points, and including some that are not as relevant to most people today (such as the possibility of a National ID card.) If you take the quiz and get "Libertarian," please check the actual platform to be sure you agree. That way, we can avoid being infiltrated by the likes of Rand Paul.
I'm a libertarian on all but one issue according to their party platform, and I have to say, the quiz leaves out some important issues - like when (if ever) it's ok to go to war, invade a country, or engage in any other sort of military conflict; when (if ever) abortion should be legal; how much power (if any) should the government have to regulate the amounts, types, and prices of goods people produce; and more if I took the time to think of them.
@generalpatton3 Totally agree. 100%. Libertarians are supposed to be FISCAL CONSERVATIVES and SOCIAL LIBERALS. That's the reason the party was founded. If you can not commit to a personal value of assisting others, and not relying on the government to do it FOR you? Vote Democrat. That way, you can pay higher taxes while the government takes care of doing that for you. Same for Repubs with "Moral" issues, only they will tell you who you can have sex with. We don't need you.
I agree, too many Libs are supporting the Bible. Keep that shit out of politics. ANd Rand Paul is NOT A LIB! HE'S A REPUBLICAN! Ron, kick your son's teeth out.
There are pure libertarians too, but there is a great deal this movement has to sort out before it goes mainstream. Far too many libertarians are dabbling with the religious right, and even though I do not like libertarians, I do not wish them to become the next victim of the religious right. But hey, hats off to the Bible-thumpers - they sure as hell know their politics and how to play the game.
Well, I take it back, it is a wily scam. Perhaps not even a scam, but not as straightforward as it seems. It is no secret that this popular quiz is slanted in a manner that leads a great amount of people suddenly 'discover' that they are 'libertarians'.
Whatever the Nolan Chart says, quite a bit of 'libertarians' in US are in fact rather immoderate conservatives. Tea Party movement is supposedly libertarian. Bollocks.
Just insert your party of choice, it works for democrats, greens, communists, and quite a few republicans. If people can't tell you what their part is actually in favor of, they probably don't actually know what party they should actually be supporting.
@Blueroadrunner111 The National ID card isn't as dead as you think...

The test is a half-arsed scam.

@zensorship Yes. Wait, what?

Personally, I am a Libertarian.
