i def love how they improved chuck. in the books he is so weird. and although i don't like nate in the show that much i'm glad he is not such a fucking stoner like he was in the books. i also hated blair in the books she was such a spiteful bitch but on the show she had more depth

Ok, about the books and all, yes I have read them (unfortunately) and a phenomenon occurred! I liked the TV show better than the books! I mean come on guys, the books are extremely poorly written, there is absolutely no finesse to the writing style or character and plot development! So what if its different, maybe its not such a bad thing?

in the books, she shaved her head in her sophomore year in like a photography lesson where they're aload to wonder around the city and blair is her partner, they go to soem men's barbers and she shaves of waist lenght gorgeous black hair! and keeps shaving it throughout the books, she's alot less mainstream, quirkier, she goes to constance, and is madly in love with Dan (who is a total freak) and they're like together through most of the books, or at least involved.

In the books, Blair was never involved with Chuck, and Vanessa never liked Nate.

Also, Vanessa was incredibly different, but you just have to read the books to find out!

I like Vanessa, but only in book. In film she put me teeth on edge! She isn't a girl for N! He should be for ever with B xd
