  • @grazzt519: Nah, the C64 version looked much closer to the arcade original than this. The colours are all wrong in this version.

  • Ok. This is great. Now tell me, why so many games in the XL/XE era were so crappy that I preferred C64? Don't get me wrong I have a lot of sentiment to XL/XE (more to XL), but why...?! I know it was possible to get much more amazing effects on Atari XL/XE than most of the game developers achieved. Personally I think Polish programmers were very good at making XL/XE games looking good back in time. I'm sure there were other talented guys from other countries, but I don't know them.

  • Limiting software by RAM, is a C64 user's invention. Systems always were built firstly to have RAM/ROM expansions. Only the C64 did not take really advantage by additional RAM.

  • ...provided the Atari in question has 320KB of RAM. :P

  • The Amstrad CPC conversion was exactly like the arcade graphics wise, and all the moves worked. This version has the C64 graphics and it seems like the C64 version only a few moves did anything!

  • Good conversion, proof the Atari 8-bits could more than compete with their nearest rivals. Great music also.

  • Is it me or does the intro sound and look kinda Mortal Kombat?

  • Atari is the best version. "Still weird a c16 ran it fine with 16K, while C64 needs more memory"

  • I take that back, looks basically the same as the c64, I guess the small video makes it look better.

And I just tried it. cleared it all on first try, same tricks that work in c64 work here, so a good conversion!

Still weird a c64 ran it fine with 64k, while the atari needs more memory..

  • A good conversion of this great game !!
