@kztar621 I think it's supposed to be because Colette (and other Chosens) and the Welgaia angels didn't have Key Crests for their Crystals. Once Lloyd completed her present (with added inhibitor ore), she "woke up".

@Yuna111222 Colette's eyes turn dull in the final episode of the Sylvarant Hen, when she finished the Regeneration ritual and became a lifeless being.

She recovers her lively eyes in the final chapter of the Tethe'Alla Hen, when Lloyd gives her the necklace.

BTW, I wonder why Kratos, Yuan and Yggdrasill still are emotionally active even though they supposedly followed the same transformation process as Colette and the Welgaia angels.
