why does no one think a world war 1 game would be fun? i think there is plenty of fun gameplay right there, such as call of duty, or something like that.

Name a fun gameplay mechanic... because I sure as hell can't think of one.
I fail to see how sitting in a hole for weeks at a time, then climbing out of the hole to wade through some mud and get shot could be considered "fun".

well, if you could fly as well as walk around that would be interesting, world war 1 was more over in the air then in a trench.

There are already First World War flight sims. You're very incorrect to say that there was more aerial combat than infantry combat, by the way.
