  • Wouldn't it just be easier to consume Cannabis in order to inhibit pain singles without fear of detrimental side effects and/or potential addiction? Seems like that would make more sense to me...I guess its just the mass pharmaceutical companies with eyes on the bottom line rather the on patient care that's most surprising to me.

  • Yeah, they should have put you on a laxative/stool softener. That is the biggest and most consistent side effect

  • @holyvampire32 Cannabis might be good for a head ache or menstrual cramps. But for those with actual pain. Usually back, knee, shoulder, etc, Weed doesn't do anything for serious pain. Plus a lot of people get really anxious or nervous on cannabis so that just makes things worse.

  • yea I agree Holyvampire, but what works for you may not for me. Trust me I wish I could get my blue card and smoke weed for my pain,. Instead I have to take percs 10/325. I could eat 10 with ease. So as I said, what works for you may not work for me.ay

  • After a dental procedure 20 years ago, I was prescribed #20 tabs of Percodan @ 5mg per tab. Sig: i tab q.i.d.. This was a triplicate prescription. Given at that small amount it really posed no problem. The worst part of the pain was on the second and third day anyway. Tylenol is more toxic so I think that Percodan was a better idea for ambulatory patients with severe pain. Exposed nerves and abcesses are serious enough for this prescription provided that antibiotics are given as well.

  • i just take two of these i think im starting to get addicted to it its only my second day after i had mouth surgery and i only took one every 4 hours but i gotta say the buzz you get is great its like your on ecstasy or something u just feel so good for about 35mins and after ur just ight but yea i can see why its addictive the 35minutes of buzz is simply amazng when my mouth hurts im looking to take the pain away but mostly the feel that buzz also i think im getting adicted to this already

  • all pain medication (opiates)will do that.Although oxycodone didn't do it to me but darvacet did!

  • I can understand that, Cannabis isn't the be-all-end-all of drugs. There will be a need for new medicine from pharmaceutical companies. I respect that you are keeping an open mind, if only more people subscribed to that open minded method of though more often.

  • i agree sometimes weed can help with pain. but it still does not help like opiates do. I agree with addiction part.

  • No, I am. We carry the stuff, but no one ever gets it. They get oxycodone w/ apap and then will sometimes get Rx strength ibuprofen along with it as a separate prescription.

  • Your obviously not a pharmacist then

  • Lol my room mate was perscribed percocet after having his wisdom teeth pulled and he was always in a great mood until his perscription was over. I wonder why?
