decka71,...i cried when i read your post,...I used to sing this song at the top of my lungs with my bud,...many years ago,...drunk out of our gourds...he died of aids in the 80's,...he was a great gay friend,..[i'm straight]...and made my now 23 year old's favorite blanket that she slept with all these years...he comes alive when I hear this,...and i cry remembering a drunkin' new years eve with him and our art friends all those years ago,...sing away up there, my friend,...I love you!

@lRAYVNl I have worked at Aero for 4+ years. We've been playing it since my first holiday. I still have no idea what this is about. But it freaks me out! Just a weird song.

I used to hate this song when it played in my work (along with "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses, or John Lennon's "Happy Christmas"), but ever since they changed the background music system, I miss it. Now all they play is oldies from the 30s through the 50s, because it's old people who mostly shop here.

Nothing wrong with oldies, but you can only listen to the same 5 Christmas songs performed by Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra so many times. At least songs like this are original.
