Glenda Rider dates her participation in the "organized scene" back to the National Lesbian Conference held in Atlanta in 1991. Connections were made there that led to her becoming the first woman to hold an Eagle bar title as Ms Baltimore Eagle 1992. She currently serves on the board of directors of the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF) and as coordinator of Females Investigating Sexual Terrain (FIST). She also is an emeritus board member of the Leather Leadership Conference, Inc. Glenda owns Play House Studios in Baltimore, 4500 square feet of play space (including many different fantasy spaces) decorated with her large fetish art collection. She also is the new executive producer of International Ms Leather.
