  • It's october!! So what is your bench up to now? btw funny vids but u already know that.

  • @MarkColetta Hey buddy, not been going crazy down the gym as had alot of work and now Im back at Uni although i have started again. I think my 1 rep max is probably around 85kg now. However my back is alot stronger and I can do large weights with that.

  • I do however have a very small lanky fram (6'1) and started at 120lbs at the same height, now I'm 180, you said you have a large frame so im guessing ud be able to acheive an impressive bench alot quicker than it took me, just be creative and look for other ways to improve your bench other than the basic stuff i.e. floor presses, rack lockouts etc.

  • @indianraver I think that's correct, you need to look at alternative methods to improve it. As opposed to sticking to the same thing all the time!

  • Hey man, just commented on your previous vid and saw you got another vid. As for me before my op my record was 77.5kg 2reps. Not a lot at all, and I think pe does affect benchpress. On the other hand I used to be good with pressups and handstand pressups, so I dunno. Difficult to say:-)

  • @grzedzic Yeah, i seem to be able to do press up's fine, I think i need to work on my tricep strength and posture, I reckon if i do that it will be fine!

  • Hey man, i have pectus excavatum and ive been wondering for so long now if i want to go through with the operation or not (nuss procedure). Ive been testing my chest, and they say that it doesnt affect me at all except for the looks of it. Ty for your vids, it has been really helpful.

  • Hey man i like what your doing and it inspired me to actually try it out. Look at my video and tell me what you think :)

  • I have pectus excavatum too and after 9 months I managed to bench 100kg for 2 reps... I think that pectus is not affecting my bench at all.

  • Chest and Bicep day? Bet you just do isolation movements as well

  • @DontMessDJD Mine are starting too, however im a fat shit, so it's gonna take a while!

  • I definitely think pectus affect the bench press to a certain degree, though not as much as one might think. Yes, the pecs r at a different angle than a normals persons chest leading to a disadvantage, but if you look use at the way powerlifters bench they alot more of their triceps, and i thinks this is the key to having a big bench with pectus. When i started weight training bench was my worst excercise, after about 3 years of training I have a 1.25 bodyweight bench of 225lbs or ~100 kilos
