Is the fillibuster allowed in the Constitution? Hell no, it's not. It's great to see Sen. Tom Udall fighting to change the Senate rules, using the Constitution as the authority to do so. I personally don't think the checks and balances of our government would be harmed without the Senate fillibuster, because we still have three other checks: the House, and the executive and judicial branches. The Senate will continue to be a lame duck until the fillibuster is null and void.
FANTASTIC there's no good reason that the rules should favor obstructionists, let the Repugs play fair for a change.
