While the treatment of HIV is excellent and it is good that people arent dying from it in the same numbers is great There is no proof that HAART will keep you alive for 50 years.
HAART has only been around for 20 years or so.
Also its a quality of life issue having to take pills everyday for the rest of your life with a disease that has so many stigmas to it isnt a good life
