That was easily our worst game of the season... there's not even a close second. So much for having a bye week. Sorry, awful, pathetic excuse for a football team out there today. I refuse to watch crap like that on Sundays.

Yeah it is embarrassing. The bottom line is people forgot when we drafted Newton we had far too many holes in the team. Cam was not the answer. He wasn't going to be the end all be all! My philosophy on the draft was to stick it out one more year with Jimmy and draft A.J. Green and go fill all the holes before taking a QB. The O-Line and D-Line needed to be addressed. I figured if we do that and take Luck in the 2012 draft we would be set after that.

@GhostDistortion I agree that it was embarrassing, but I don't agree with that plan at all... we've got our franchise QB now. That's the most important peice. Even the great Andrew Luck is not a guarantee. There are other spots that need to be addressed, but we won't get to the promised land without the franchise QB that we now have in place. It's not all going to happen in the first year... we've just got to be patient as much as it might suck.

@sshsgrad2004 We'll see man, but Cam reminds me too much of Vick. He turns the ball over about as much as he scores TD's. I want a QB that doesn't throw a ton of INT's. I think Luck is that Guy. I really see Luck as the next Legendary QB and I hope I'm wrong, but I see Cam as the next Randall Cunningham or Jeff Garcia. Pretty good, but not gonna get you a SB ring.

@GhostDistortion Cam and Vick are not really that much alike. Cam is much bigger (so he's less fragile and can see over the line better), has a stronger arm, and is more accurate. Cam has thrown some INTs, yes, but he IS a rookie. All rookie QBs throw them... look at Peyton Manning's rookie season. He threw 28 INTs. Cam is on pace to be better than Peyton's rookie year all across the board. Aikman? 18 INTs in 11 games. Elway? 15 in 11 games. Steve Young?  8 INTs in 5 games.

@sshsgrad2004 We'll see man, and you're right all rookies throw INT's but only a few of them go on to be great. A lot of that has to do with the team they have around them too. Peyton threw a ton of INT's because his O-Line and WR's sucked, Aikman threw INT's for the same reason and Steve Young...he played for Tampa, nuff said. The thing is though, that's only handful of guys, most of them go on to keep throwing INT's. Notice I said he's gonna be more like Garcia or Cunningham, but not elite.

@nflpanthersO7 Wow, that's strange... I don't know if there's anything I can do about it from my end. I think it wasn't as much about giving up the points, but our offense that has been firing on all cylinders the whole season just did nothing.
