INSTRUCTIONS:
You will need 65" (inches) of string if doubling the strings, 35" (inches) if you're using individual colors.
Basically you just need to make a bunch of forward knots from left to right and then when you want to reverse just start making backward knots from right to left.

It's a very simple bracelet and can be done with as many strings as you want!

NOTE: I realized after I had completed this video that the girl who requested it actually asked for the FLIP-FLOP zig-zag pattern- so I need to re-do this and go get the flip-flop done.

That's not an issue, though. I'm sure there was someone out there that was wondering how to do the plain zig-zag bracelets so I am going to post the video anyway!

So yeah, I'm off to make the flip-flop version. If that's the one you want just click the annotation at the end of the video and it will take you right to the pattern! Thanks for watching!

  • @PMDBFFs I'm sick always, can't help it if I sound like I've been hit by a truck or two. Sorry.

  • @BeyondBracelets oh ok i see im soo sorry! get beter soon :)

  • @PMDBFFs Unfortunately it's not that sort of sick... I have an autoimmune disease and other stuff that won't go away... but thank you.

  • sorry, how many metres or centimetres of each colous?

  • @manosconcascola The "Four" or "4" method is more widely known.

As for length just check the description for the inch measurements and convert on Google.

  • @Strawberryluva13 If you can imagine pulling a babies hair... that's how hard you should be doing it. For the most part you should barely be tugging. Now, I'm not saying that you don't pull at all but you shouldn't be all HULK SMASH with your strings.

  • I am soooo confused on the forward knots!!! how the heck are you doing that!?!?!?! :(

  • @HannieBananie1000 The forward knots are the exact opposite of backward knots. Whenever you fold the strings, instead of making a backwards "4" shape, make a regular forwards 4 (you should see the # 4 when you do this) to make a forward knot. Beyond Bracelets has videos that tell you how to make all types of knots if you go to her page and click the yellow button that says start here (at least I think that's what it says)... Hope I helped!! :)

  • @BeyondBracelets oh im soo sorry :(

  • in sted of saying a backward 4 say a P , is only my opinion .

  • @HannieBananie1000 To make a forward knot you basicly make a "4" shape with the string and to make a backward knot you make a backward "4" shape :) let me know if this helps you!! :)
