wouldnt google voice be easier? i make free calls on gv all the time i just go to gmail and i look down on the bottom left and it says call.. and i can call anyone in the us for free for as long as i want.. i get voicemails and unlimited texts as well... and a cool phone number of any area code i want!!!

@zd111809 You can use them together. GV is not the same. Yes you can get texting by using using this method.

You can get a local number too if you go to

vvww,goggle,com/googlevoice/ab­out.html. Get a local number then forward it to your ikall number. The xlink will ring pick up and type in the 4 digit code and then you have a local number. The trick with this is you use google talk to call out for free and xlink to recieve calls without adding money to voipbuster.

Thanks for the info. It worked like a charm. I have done called my cell and home number using eyebeam configured with VOIPBUSTER. That is so damn awesome. You rock dude no matter what any1 or anybody says.

i ve never had issues calling out on voip.. aside from the fact none of my friends recognize the number and wont answer.. the issue i have is no reception at home.. if my friends could call my voip number without incurring long distance charges.. i would be in business
