is this one better than the Altec Lansing inMotion Compact?

I bought this one for my Iphone3G and works fine , maybe you know by now, but you can store the remote inside the dock(on the back you see some letters saying´remote control´) very handy. Cheers !

I want to buy this but there's one thing.
Can I connect it to my tv's headphone plug?
That would be great cuz my tv has crappy sound.

@SomeThingsRule You can definitely use it as a speaker source. Just use a 3.5mm cord to connect both sources.

If i put my iphone 2g or 3g on it will it play music or not? I have read on the internet that it doesn't support iphone so im not sure. Btw i am going to get the im600 europe version. (sorry for my bad english)

Haha, no need to apologize. Your English is great! I haven't tried with the iPhone 2G and 3G yet, but it definitely plays music with the iPhone 1G. It does play music with the iPod Touch 2G, so if the hardware is the same, it should play in the iPhone 2G and 3G as well.

Hi, I own this unit and very happy with it but I need this little thingy from the Mint DS Wireless USB PC Speakers (see this video) copy and paste in search

Is the IM600 has this capability?

Unfortunately, the Mint speakers and these speakers are two totally different products. So there's no possible way or purchasing a dongle for your PC and using these speakers at the same time. There is no internal wireless component within these speakers, so it cannot be technologically possible. Hope that helps!
