  • Hey, does the terratec audio card have possibility for serato or other timecode systems? Looks like it has line in the front and the back, but do they both work at the same time?

  • @32JSE hi, well i guess it will work with serato as it supports asio 2.0 software. so no lagging while mixing. but you can't use both front and end out/in-puts at the same time. basically it supports only one input and one ouput at asio 2.0 at the same time. it's not possible to plug in two sammichs with asio 2.0 at the same time. if you want this you have to look in the above 100EUR area. have a look at musonik dot com, they released it's successor X64. or you go for rme audio products.

  • @krisschneider Thanks! This one guy is selling it in a good price so i was thinking about buying it mainly for studio use and recording mixes, but ofcourse serato support would be a good thing. Right now i am using an integrated soundcard in my laptop on FL Studio and the cracking on the sound is annoying when i have many VST plugins on use. You think that the card might help with that?

  • @32JSE if you don't have a smooth sound in fl studio, use asio4all. options -> audio settings -> the first drop down menu "input/output". if it won't work, the phase 26 works great with fl studio, i use it myself. no lags at all.

for all other questions regarding serato etc.contact the musonik guys, they know their product best :-)

  • @krisschneider I have asio in use on my integrated laptop card, but it still sounds terrible. The CPU rarely reaches 100% on this laptop even if i have many vts's. The sound still starts cracking and freezes sometimes, so i would imagine a new soundcard fixing it. Anyways, thanks for all of your information. I'm gonna buy the soundcard soon.
