@iamcondescending well ill tell you erik prince the founder of blackwater was a navy seal some of the most patrotic men this country has ever produced in order to get hired you had to have privious combat experiance army rangers, seals, and marines do get out of the service that doesnt make them any less patriotic than they were when in uniform

@mace085 no you want people serving and fighting and killing people FOR THEIR COUNTRY! If a corporation's only in it for the money what's to stop them working for someone else who pays them more? I'd feel more comfortable fighting alongside someone loyal to a lot more than the almighty dollar. Thank God I live in Canada.

everyone goes one about the money the american taxpayer doesn't pay disability to contractors who get injured on the job they dont have the medical benifits the solders do. the US Army pays 50,000 in reenlistment bounses to retain some mos. the contractor is getting paid to risk there lives and protect others.

there private security just like hospital security police here in the states or the guards at federal buildings. they work for the state dept. I used to work on the Homeland security contract serching trucks and mail for explosives and was paid $22hr to take the risk involved for 8 years i made good money 3x what im making now but no ones shooting at me

Then also went to Iraq. In Fallujah four of them were brutally killed. If I think about it. the got what they desreved. I wish all of them ended up like that.
