***a few days later. The day that nick and his brothers are leaving. Nick still hasnt told miley.***

That night in the tree house with Miley and Nick

Miley-(can tell somethings wrong) nick whats wrong?

Nick-(looks up) what? Uh nothing why?

Miley-youve been really quiet the past few days and your really distant. This morning I tried to hold your hand in school and you pulled it away and snapped at me for it (tears build up) It makes me feel as if you dont want to be around me

Nick-(gently wipes a tear that falls and grabs her into a tight hug) miles im so sorry I didnt mean to make you feel unwanted. Its just been a really off week for me

Miley-(pulls away) why? Whats going on?

Nick-(gets a text from Joe telling him he needs to get home and help load) idk its just been weird, but I have to get home.

Miley-uhh okay. Call me later?

Nick-uhh ya I will. (grabs her tight and pulls her into a kiss with as much passion as he can and feels the tears build up but fights them back)

Miley-(depens it but is shocked with how much passion hes putting into it and thinking somethings up)

Nick-(pulls away) I love you and only you miley dont ever forget that

Miley-I love you too and always will

Nick-(kisses her one last time and walks off with tears streaming down his face)

WHEN NICK GETS HOME

Kevin-so nick how did it go?

Nick-uh it didnt

Joe-what?!

Nick-I didnt tell her I was leaving

Joe-why not?!

Kevin-you cant just leave without telling her goodbye. Your going to break her heart again!

Nick-and if I tell her I still break her heart. I cant say goodbye its too hard I cant handle watching her break down and knowing that its me causing those tears(a tear falls)

Joe-nick you have to tell her

Nick-NO! just leave me alone! (walks off to finish loading the truck)

Kevin-(looks at joe) has he lost his mind?!

Joe-apparently! Ugh hes so stubborn! And whats gonna happen when he comes back to finish school?! Does he think its all gonna go back to normal?!

Kevin-uh idt he knows were coming back

Joe-well come 2 years from now hes gonna have a really rude awakening.

Kevin-ya I know. And I dont want to just leave without saying goodbye I think miley deserves to hear the truth!

Joe-ya she does. Want to drive up there really quick?

Kevin-(grabs his keys) lets go! (shouts to nicks room) nick well be back!

Nick-whatever!

JOE AND KEVIN KNOCK ON MILEYS DOOR

Miley-(opens it) uh hi guys. Whats up?

Joe-miles do you have a minute?

Miley-(looks at them confused)uh ya want to go up to the tree house?

Kevin-ya(they walk up to the tree house)

Miley-so guys whats going on? isnt nick at home?

Joe-ya packing

Miley-(confused) for what?

Kevin-look miles about a week ago we all found out were going on tour for 2 years.

Miley-w-what?

Joe-ya were going on tour and nick said he cant handle saying goodbye and he was just going to leave without saying anything but we couldnt do that

Kevin-miles he really does love you but he just doesnt know how to handle this we tried telling him

Miley-(tears build up) w-w-hen do you leave?

Joe-we leave in an hour

MILEYS POV
Those 5 words stung. An hour? Hes really not going to say goodbye? Everything was a blur now I had tears streaming down my face. All I could remember was me trying to collapse on the ground but joe and Kevin caught me before I could hit the floor. My whole world was crashing down on me. Another 10 minutes passed by then I heard Joe say they really had to go. I just stood there like a statue I couldnt move I tried to hug them back and say goodbye but I was in a state of shock. Would I ever see him again? Or talk to him?
