Dance Performance @ the Gran Cena de Gala which took place at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church in Downtown Sacramento on April 9, 2011 (:

It's a real fun one (:

This is a Bolivian dance that's highly influenced in my country (Peru) because we are neighbors. For that reason, we also like to sing & dance to this music too.
*For all those Bolivians out there, please don't misinterpret this.*

The beginning got cut off cuhz of my dad, sowwy. Blame Him, lol.

  • This is actually a Bolivian (only) dance called "Caporal". It originated in an afro-bolivian dance named "Saya". There are differences between both. The songs authors are The "Kjarkas".

Oh, thank's for letting me know & let me apologize for the misunderstandings. I'm Peruvian but I've lived her since I was 4, so my knowledge on the history of Peru & Bolivia isn't so well.

However, I do know that it originated in Bolivia and that they're neighbors with Peru, so there's much influence from them.

In my defense, Puno borders with Bolivia, so much of the Bolivian culture is passed down there, so we share the same music. Just like different artists sing the same songs.

  •  omg Mary Joe I  your dance and you cute  and . I  the  too.

  • @letywety my cute what? i see boxes . i see "  and . I  the  too" what is that? Lol.

  • No need to apologize. You are a graceful dancer and art is an universal language anyways. Cheers from a Bolivian in Wisconsin.
